CONSULTANCY CONTRACT OF A MONITORING AND EVALUATION CONSULTATION FIRM of the Migrant Assistance and Protection Portfolio, including the IOM Assisted Voluntary Return and Reintegration Programme (AVRR)

Through the AVRR programme in Morocco, IOM seeks to contribute to improving the management of migration governance in Morocco. The overall objective of this action is that vulnerable and stranded migrants from North Africa return safely and voluntarily to and from North Africa, and that returnees reintegrate sustainably into their country of origin. The action also aims to strengthen the protection system in order to respond to the immediate needs of migrants in vulnerable situations in Morocco and to support partner countries and relevant stakeholders in North Africa to increasingly exercise responsibility and management. returns, readmission and sustainable reintegration of migrants.

Additionally, under the Protection and Resilience pilar, IOM aims to provide direct and specialized assistance and protection services to migrants and host communities in vulnerable situations in Morocco, through an inclusive approach. Protection and assistance services can take form of medical and psychosocial assistance, distribution of food and non-food items, provision of accommodation, and legal assistance to support the most vulnerable including potential victims of trafficking, unaccompanied or separated children as well as migrants in need of medical services.
