Supply and Delivery of Furniture, Equipment anProvision of the Internet over fiber Leased Line and FTTH Services for UNMHA in Hudaydah Yemen

1.0 The office of the United Nations Mission to Support the Hudaydah Agreement (hereinafter known as “UNMHA”) in Hudaydah intends to establish a contract with a third-party company to provide Internet Services over fiber cable from YemenNet company, the sole source provider of this service in Hudaydah. The UNMHA office is located at Al-Thawra Street, Commercial District, Hudaydah -Yemen. The contract is intended for an initial period of one (1) year with the possibility to extend for two (2) additional years (1+1+1), subject to an extension of UNMHA’s mandate, availability of funds and satisfactory performance of the Contractor. 2.0 The objective is to establish with an Internet Services Provider for the UNMHA site to provide reliable high-speed internet between the UNMHA HQ building in Hudaydah and the World Wide Web over fiber cable connectivity. The office is connected through a leased line connection over a fiber optic cable to Yemen Net. Therefore, the bidder shall propose a solution based on internet service using the current fiber cable infrastructure. The proposal shall include the following: 1.2.1 The Contractor shall offer an internet bandwidth minimum requirement of 12 Mbps Symmetric with Unlimited download. 1.2.2 Asymmetric internet service over fiber (FTTH): 2 lines with 1.8 Terabyte packages each, 100Mbps Download/12Mbps Upload. (Shared). 1.2.3 The Contractor shall use the available connectivity in the form of Ethernet to the termination point at the UNMHA building.
