Description
The United Nations Global Service Centre / United Nations Logistics Base (UNGSC/UNLB) in Brindisi, Italy intends to purchase a high performance storage to enhance the Data Centre Infrastructure at UNGSC/UNLB. The main technical specification are listed below: - Min. 100 TB of SAS 15K storage; - Min. 300 GB of Solid State Drive; - Ability to connect to HP c7000 10GB link; - Ability to support all flavours of WIndows and Linux OS; - Compatibility with VMWare virtualization platform; - Readyness for synchronous and asynchronous replication; - LUN size limit 521 TB or greater; - Ability to support RAID 0,1,5,6,10; - Ability to support zoning; - Ability to automatically use spare drives to replace faulty drive/s in RAID; - Ability to resize LUNs; - Ability to perform synchronous replication for high availability; - Ability to support storage virtualization; - Ability to support snapshots and volume cloning. Delivery terms: DAP, UNLB. The full technical requirements and details will be provided with a formal solicitation document to be issued at a later stage, soon after the closing date for this EOI. This notice does not constitute solicitation. The UNLB reserves the right to change or cancel this requirement at any time in the EOI and/or solicitation process. The UNLB Procurement considers a firm's qualifications and experience in the particular commodity/service area, and previous performance, when preparing a list of invitees. Therefore, in case of EOIs concerning equipment or supplies, for responding vendors who are not manufacturers, full details of the vendor's status, as a factory-appointed wholesaler or distributor, must be provided if not already on file with UNLB Procurement.
