The United Nations Office for Project Services , Ethiopian Multi-country office (hereinafter referred to as UNOPS ETMCO) is pleased to invite competent Bidders to submit their respective competitive Bids for the Supply and Delivery of CCTV Cameras for Ministry of Water and Energy, Ethiopia in accordance with the UNOPS General Conditions of Contract and “Schedule of Requirements” herein uploaded under file ITB_Section_II_Schedule of Requirements.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Interested vendors must respond to this tender using the UNOPS eSourcing system, via the UNGM portal. In order to access the full UNOPS tender details, request clarifications on the tender, and submit a vendor response to a tender using the system, vendors need to be registered as a UNOPS vendor at the UNGM portal and be logged into UNGM. Tender cancelled on 2024-01-23 12:35 UTC. Dear Vendors, Thank you for your bid dated 24th August 2023 for Supply and Delivery of CCTV Cameras. After careful consideration, the UNOPS Evaluation Team has decided to cancel the tender. This is due to that fact that our minimum technical requirement required material revision. New clarification added: Dear Bidders,We've received clarification requests from interested bidders. Below please find the queries and our responses:Question from Bidder 1: Greeting UNOPS team,1 Is wireless bridge ok for connection purpose?2 can you confirm if all the sites are in an approximate distance to Ethiopia telecom network or sites.3 for the CCTV would you prefer in house NVR? or cloud?4 For the Uplink streaming of remote CCTV, you have made the VSAT and Long-range wireless bridge as optional, but again you put the quantity as (1). so, does that mean only one site requires this or several sites? and how shall account for it on the technical form as one or for several sites, basically how many?5 If wireless bridge or Point-to-point is viable will that mean you will abandon the VSAT option?thanksUNOPS Response: 1. The supplier shall provide compatible wireless bridge for cctv streaming 2. All sites can be reached within some distance from Ethio Telecom sites. But they are not in the same or similar distances from the network sites.3. The NVR shall be installed in the central control room In Addis Ababa. Cloud is not required.4. The quantity may differ. One site needs VSAT and more wireless bridges might be added on the other sites depending on the 4G network capability5. Vsat is selected for one site. More P2P or More Vsat might be selected based upon the report of Ethiotelecom surveyQuestion from Bidder 2:1. Please confirm that the scope includes supply of video management solution - VMS 2. Kindly confimr if the Long range wireless bridge will run on either: a) free frequency or b) paid frequency3. Kindly confirm that this request includes installation of Long range wireless bridge x 9UNOPS Reponse:1. Kindly refer to the shared Schedule of Requirements2. New clarification added: 1. Please confirm 4G status for Genale, Wabe Shebele, Dedessa2. Please confirm if VSAT can be used as an alternative at places without 4G and if you will facilitate documentation for import of VSAT equipment3. Please comfirm that this opportunity is open to International bidders4. Please confirm if bids can be in US Dollars (USD)5. Please confirm if you have prefered brands for the equipment6. Please confirm if the Long range wireless bridge are 9 units or 9 sets (2 per set) = 18 equipment for 9 links7. Please comfirm that UNOPS Ethiopia will foot monthly data/Internet chargesDear Vendor,Thank you for your clarification questions, please find our responses below;At this stage we cannot confirm if there is a 4G network in Genale and Dedessa, we can confirm there is a 4G network in Wabe Shebele.Yes, VSAT can be used as an alternatives for those location which don't have 4G network. Yes, we will facilitate the necessary import requirements.Yes, this is an open international competetion and international bidders are allowed to submit their offers.Yes, the currency of the bid is USD, you can submit your offer in USD.
