Description
1.0 The United Nations Assistance Mission in Iraq (UNAMI) requires Supply and Delivery of Local Iraqi Daily Newspapers Subscriptions at the UNAMI Office, International Zone, in Baghdad, Iraq, for a period of year (1) year contract, with the option of extension 4 years, subject to extension of UNAMI mandate, availability of funds and satisfactory performance by the prospective contractor (s). 2.0 The requirement includes the following items: 2.1 Must Supply and deliver the newspapers to UNAMI Public Information Office (PIO) in Baghdad, Iraq at a specified date daily ie 8.00AM. 2.2 Delivery of Newspapers on public holiday’s vendor should inform UNAMI in advance. 2.3 Vendor must inform UNAMI in advance of any change in prices in advance. 2.4 Vender must provide a designated focal point to deal with all UNAMI deliveries and management of the services. 2.5 Vendor to provide proper itemized invoices in English Language. 2.6 The shall be responsible for complying with all laws, codes, ordinances and regulations applicable to the performance of the work, including those of the Iraqi Government, and with the lawful orders of any governmental authority having jurisdiction. 2.7 Working week: UNAMI official work week is from Sunday through Thursday. 2.8 Working hours: UNAMI official working hours are from 0830 hours to 1700 hours. 2.9 Holidays: The official holidays of UNAMI and Kuwait Government are recognized as non working days. Complete specifications will be supplied together with the formal solicitation documents. 3.0 Please note on the following: a) This EOI is not an invitation for submission of a bid. b) UNAMI reserves the right in selecting the invitees for the competitive bidding based on substantial and proven records of performance in the subject field of activities and mere expressing an interest would not automatically warrant for tender document. c) UNAMI reserves the right to reject EOIs received after the above deadline.
