The United Nations Office at Nairobi (UNON), on behalf of UN- Habitat Somali Office invites qualified interested firms to submit Expression of Interest (EOI) to participate in the upcoming solicitation for Provision of Office Space for UN-Habitat Somalia Programme in Mogadishu. The deployment of international staff obliges the UN-Habitat Somalia country programme to contract suitable accommodation services to ensure business continuity within the region. Scope of Services required for Habitat Somalia`s office include: 1. The accommodation and offices shall be located within the same compound within the ATMIS protected area in Mogadishu. 2. Sanitary protocols are in place 3. Minimum 25 m2 office space, with air conditioning and openable windows, unfurnished, but able to accommodate 5 workstations and one meeting table. 4. Availability of 4 m3 storage space outside the office for additional furniture 5. Use of shared toilet facilities for the office. 6. Dedicated UN-Habitat wireless network with a min. 10 Mbps ul/dl speed for the office space 7. 24/7 power with generator backup 8. One covered space for project vehicle (parking) 9. One ensuite standard room with all amenities: furnished, 24/7 potable water, power, internet, refrigerator, cleaning services (specify food rate extra). The room must be usable by other UN-Habitat staff during times where the principal occupant is absent. 10. The contractor to provide drinking water for UN-Habitat staff in the premises. The complete details of the requirement will be provided in the tender documents that will be issued to bidders after this request for EOI is closed.
