CONSULTANCY SERVICE TO CONDUCT

A BASELINE SURVEY ON THE PREVENTION AND MANAGEMENT OF GENDER BASED VILOENCE IN ETHIOPIA PROJECT

 

 

UNFPA Ethiopia has been supporting the Government to address its national priorities based on its core thematic areas of work that include Reproductive Health, Population and Development and Gender Equality. Currently UNFPA Ethiopia is implementing the 7th Country Programme within the broad framework of the United Nations Development Assistance Framework (UNDAF) which stipulates the overall support of the UN system in implementing the Growth and Transformation Plan (GTP) and other sectorial plans and programmes.

 

The United Nations Population Fund, whose principal address is in ADDIS ABABA, ETHIOPIA, at UNECA compound, wishes to engage a qualified firm to conduct a baseline survey on the prevention and management of gender based violence in Ethiopia.

 

In this context, UNFPA Ethiopia Country Office invites proposals from interested and qualified firms for the above-mentioned professional services. The technical and financial proposals should be submitted in separate sealed envelopes on/or before Thursday, February 28, 2013, at 11:00 am local time (GMT +3). Late offers shall be rejected.

 

A complete set of RFP bid document in English is posted at the United Nations Global Marketplace (UNGM) in https://www.ungm.org/Notices/Notices.aspx. Bidders are expected to examine all instructions, forms, specifications, terms and conditions contained in the bid solicitation documents issued by UNFPA.

 

Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the bid policies and procedures of UNFPA, and is open to all interested, qualified and eligible bidders.
