Supply & Installation of Metal Grills (Doors and Windows) for Villas in West of UNCC.

The United Nation Common Compound is located in Janzour Tourist Village, Tripoli, Libya. The compound contains villas which is used as accommodations for UN agencies.

1. Project Description

The project focus on upgrading the security measures at UNCC villas by installing the following:

a) Metal Grill Doors :Supply & installation of  Metal Grill (with fixed & opening )  for 44 Villas at ground floor entrances and Back yard at UNCC Compound , the price include supply and installation Steel Grill Doors with fabrication  of 20mm Iron bars, with  max 20 cm center to centre spacing between metal bars , support  bars vertical strengthening element every 50-60cm,  the Frame is Metal Box section  (min 40mmx400mm & thickness of 4mm) , installation min 2 robust hinges, frame should be fixed into the wall in at least 12 points, with at least 8cm depth in the wall, New  locks, and  all related  needed activities ,iron monger and hardware for frames , application of anti-Rust, painting ,  and  all related  needed activities to complete the task as per required technical specification and the Engineers instructions.(for more details Please refer to the attached drawings/details  also site measurements  is required prior to starting the work )Installation of metal grill windows for 44 villas.

b)Fixed Metal grills for windows: Supply and installation of Metal grills for windows of villas at Ground floor UNCC ,the price include supply , Fabrication , transportation , installation , all iron monger, needed hardware, painting , anti-rust of metal for Metal Frame Box section ( min 40 mm X 40mm with min thickness of 4mm) in fill with metal bars  with Ø 20mm, spacing of max 20 cm center to center between bars , installation of 1 vertical bars strengthening element. The Metal Frame should be fixed into the wall at least 8 points, with at least 5cm depth in the wall, Fabrication, transportation, installation, all iron monger and hardware, painting , anti-rust, and all other related activities to complete the task according to specification and the Engineer approval. the Windows sizes are different (for more details Please refer to the attached drawings/details also site measurements are required prior to starting the work)

2. Duration of Project

The project is divided into two phases as follows:

a)  Phase One (23 Villa): Expected duration of contract 60 days from the date of receipt of handover Certificate from UNDP Engineer.

b)   Phase Two (21 Villa): Expected duration of contract 60 days from the date of receipt of handover Certificate from UNDP Engineer.
