New clarification added: Dear Madam/Sir,Thank you for your interest in UNOPS tender. Clarifications to your queries are given blow:1. Yes, under section III of returnable bidding forms, in Form C (Technical Quotation Form) bidders need to write their understanding and proposals. 2. In section 3, under key personnel proposed, bidders need to provide the name & CVs of the key personnel for the assignment from the Company not the name and CVs of potential candidates. Bidders are required to provide at least one name (Focal Person) and his/her CV. Bidders are free to provide other names and CVs, but it is not mandatory.3. Under the rights of UNOPS to vary requirements, provision of +/- 20% is on person month. This means that variation could be on number of personnel or duration.Best regardsUNOPS

New clarification added: Clarifications to your queries:- The bidder can propose remote services, and handle the assignment remotely, but we prefer that atleast the focal person as mentioned in the Terms of Reference is available during the joint orientation and training of recruited personnel, which are face to face.- Person month means person/s multiplied by month/s worked. Thirty Six (36) person months means 1 person works for 36 months or 2 persons work for 18 months or 3 persons work for 12 months etc.Best regardsUNOPS

New clarification added: Dear Madam/Sir,Thank you for your interest in UNOPS tender. Clarifications to your queries are given blow:- An international firm can apply, but needs to ensure that the firm will register with Government of Nepal before contract is signed if selected.- Yes, you can bid in USD, but you need to confirm during clarification of quotations in writing that you will accept a Contract issued in the Nepalese Rupees and that for conversion the official United Nations operational rate of exchange of the day of RFQ deadline as stated in the Tender Particulars section shall apply. Regardless of the currency of quotations received, the Contract will always be issued and subsequent payments will be made in the Nepalese Rupees only.- Please refer to the Terms of Reference (RFQ Section II, schedule of requirements) under documents.- Please refer to the Terms of Reference (RFQ Section II, schedule of requirements) under documents.- Contractor must register with Government of Nepal before contract is signed.- Please refer to the Terms of Reference (RFQ Section II, schedule of requirements) and Criteria tab in e-Sourcing.Best regardsUNOPS
