New clarification added: Subject: SERVER ROOM AIRCON UNITSDuring review of Mechanical drawing and equipment schedule we found out Aircon specified for the Server room isCRAC unit. SBS Electrical is proposing to supply & install 2 x Daikin Hi-Wall split AC units complete with BMS service AC duty standby control including overtemp exhaust system.During review of Mechanical drawing, equipment schedule and BoQ we found out that on the drawing and equipment schedule it's showing 1 x CRAC unit and 1 x normal split AC unit while on the BoQ it mentioned only for 1 x CRAC unit.Please confirm how many Aircon units will be installed in the Server room.Answer: Please price for 1 CRAC unit and 1 high wall split per mech darwingSubject: ELECTRICAL SERVICES AND BOQ1. BOQ item #113 requesting price for a 2x48 pole Distributiobn Board, but during induction they mentioned it is existing in the riser cupboard. Please clarify, did you receive any pictures for same ?Answer: For this tender please stick with what we stated in BOQ.2. BOQ item #114 - we noticed all existing light fittings were connected and in working order, please confirm where the item requesting connect them to DB-L3 here.Answer: Bidders need to quote for emergency and exit lights as per Annex 2: Eletrical drawings3 BOQ item # 116 - During the induction they confirmed of supplying the UPS system, please confirm this including the UPS-DB, Bypass switch and battery back-up.Answer: UNOPS will supply UPS4. BOQ item # 120 - we found only 28 UPS D/GPOs in the layout but BOQ quantity for 29 Nos.Answer: Please allow for 29 numbers of UPS ports as per BOQ8. BOQ item # 128 - There is 41 LED panel lights in the E01 layout, BOQ refers to only 20 Fittings to be re-locate, please confirm.Answer: Please propose for 20 numbers light panels as per the BOQ9. BOQ item #129 - requesting only 2 x Emergency EXIT signs, please confirm the tech data of the existing EXIT light type.Answer: Please suppl and install 2 numbers of exit light panels as per BOQ10. Please provide the exisiting electrical and dry fire layout for this area.Answer: This is not part of the tender process.11. Builder to check and confirm the installation requirements for the floor box due to structural restrictioins.Answer: Floor box to be removed from scope.

New clarification added: Please see below RFIs.1. Please provide direction - Architectural plan shows relocation only of existing lights while electrical plan advises to supply and install lights, emergency lights and exit lights. Answer: Please follow the electrical drawing.2. Refer electrical plan E100, please confirm if we are to supply / install incoming cable to Db-T2 ? If yes please provide location of main stream connection board. 3. Refer electrical plan E100, please advise specs of the digital meter check. is this from PNG Power ? 4. Refer electrical plan E100, need more details for Distribution boards (IP rating, etc).Answer 2-4: Please refer to BOQ5. Please advise if we are to suppl/install UPS and bypass switch, if yes please provide specs. Answer: Bidder is to install the UPS6. Please provide cabling specs for UPS.Answer: Please refer to Annex 2, E100 for electrical cable specs7. Provide specs for the floor Box (FB)Answer: Floor box to be removed8 Provide specs of WIFI hotspotAnswer: Bidders are not required to provide this item. New clarification added: Hi UNOPS,We have submitted our Tender before the New Amendment on Extension of Submission was received."To extend the tender to 16 June 20232023-06-09"Our concern is, we have not included said amendment (Extension to June 16) to Schedule 0.11 Acknowledgement of Addenda.Is it okay for us to withdraw said Tender & we'll resubmit?Answer: there is no change in the amendment, no need to withdraw/resubmit.

New clarification added: 1. BOQ contains line items for architectural and hydraulic design services, physical planning approval, building board approval, and other local services approvals. These would normally be secured by the Principal when, as here, an Architect has already been engaged. Answer1.1 Consultants Design Service fees and Authority Permit Application Fees shall be removed from BOQ, lines 1 to 9. These are UNOPS responsibilities. Updating of construction drawings for the as-built set to be done during/after construction by UNOPS.1.2 Remove lines 12, 15 to 20. These are UNOPS responsibilities.2. Required qualifications for proposed Health and Safety Officer are a university degree in an engineering discipline "or related field." This seems excessive for a relatively-small interior fitout project - a post-secondary certificate or diploma is, we submit, a more reasonable qualification to require.Answer2. HSSE Officer is required to have relevant certification in Occupational Health and Safety or have an equivalent of 2 or more years working in a construction site as a Safety Officer.
