Description
The United Nations Office at Nairobi (UNON), on behalf of United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) invites qualified interested firms to submit Expression of Interest (EOI) to participate in the upcoming solicitation to provide climate risk mapping digital platform for the Malawi National Adaptation Planning process. The tool will display climate risk and vulnerability maps at the national level and include features such as dataset filters as well as other functionality that will enable government planners to visualize future impact and risk scenarios given climate change. The tool should use Open data and develop all the necessary IT applications systems for the successful roll-out of the tool. The work would comprise of three tasks based on country demands: discovery phase and scoping analysis, content development including pilot phase, sustainability strategy and action plan. The services and deliverables are required in English. A minimum of 5 years' experience is needed in digital tool development applied to planning systems, working with international and national organisations. The complete details of the requirement will be provided in the tender documents that will be issued to bidders after this request for EOI is closed.
