Description

The Terms of Reference (Annex A) outline the specifications for the supply, delivery, installation, commissioning and testing of continuous-duty three-phase, solid-state, modular UPS systems. The contractor shall furnish all labour, materials, tools, equipment, and reasonable incidental services necessary to complete an acceptable installation, delivery, commissioning and testing of the system. This is to include but is not necessarily limited to -as required by the project- the UPS frame(s), module(s), batteries, or other DC storage systems, and accessory cabinet(s) for transformers, maintenance bypass, and distribution applications, and other features as described in this specification.

Given the modular, expandable nature of the required system, UNHCR RB MENA intends to establish a service contract for the initial installation and related maintenance and a frame agreement concerning the expansion components/ additional batteries. The establishment of a Frame Agreement does not represent a commitment that UNHCR will order any minimum quantity of the services from the selected bidder. The agreement is non-exclusive, and period/volume may vary and will depend on the actual requirements and funds available regulated by issuance of individual order requests. The successful bidders will be requested to maintain their quoted price model for the duration of the Frame Agreement(s). The intended duration of the agreement is two (2) years with the possibility of a one (1) year extension.
