River/barge transportation of fuel to Malakal and Bentiu (South Sudan) in support of UNMISS.

The United Nations is sending a Request for Information to determine the local capacities for the barge delivery of fuel to Malakal, Bentiu and Renk. The required service: River transportation in South Sudan through fuel barges and pushers for regular transportation of fuel, Oil & Lubricants (POL) to Malakal and Bentiu, including some deliveries to Renk. Products (to be provided by the UN) include Diesel, Jet A-1 and Petrol. Estimated quantities, routes and other details are specified in attached Annex A. It is noted that Jet A-1 barge tank must be internally epoxy lined and dedicated for transportation of Jet A-1 only. The service provider is expected to adhere to quality and safety standards, provide insurance coverage and have valid inspection certificates and operating licence.
