Supply of Nylon Bags for eligible suppliers from Palestinian territories (Gaza &WB) and Israel
6.2 Special Conditions of Contract
6.2.1 Proposed delivery term is DAP, UNRWA warehouses throughout Gaza strip within 2 weeks from receiving the purchase order. Any supplier who offers different delivery terms than the proposed one in the solicitation documents should mention this clearly in his offer.
6.2.2 Delivery period is of the essence
6.2.3 Quantities in the tender are approximate and liable to change and UNRWA is not bound to purchase all quantities stated in the tender. UNRWA has right to purchase partial quantities from more than one supplier as per most suitable the delivery schedule or immediate delivery.
6.2.4 Contract type: Long Term Agreement (LTA) modality
6.2.5 The quantity of each item stated in the tender is estimated over one year to consumption. UNRWA will enter into one year contract (LTA).
6.2.6 Poor performance may result in suspension of supplier’s future partake in UNRWA tendering process and/or debarment of awarding for certain period. For more information about the Vendor performance evaluation, please contact the Contract Management Unit via e-mail: s.el-kahlout@unrwa.org
6.2.7 A bid bond (Bank Cheque or Bank Guarantee) of USD 5,000 with a validity of 120 days is required. Copy of the bid bond must be sent along with the offer (electronically) (PDF format) while the original one should be submitted to UNRWA Gaza Finance Office only from 9 am-12 noon at the same tender closing date (Attention: Mr. Ahmed El-Assadi, phone # 0597920666) or to UNRWA Jerusalem Office (Attention: Mr. Mazen El-Mashni , phone # 0542325617) at the same tender closing time and date too. Otherwise, the offer will not be considered.
6.2.8 UNRWA has the right to request performance bond up to 10% of the potential contract values, however higher amounts are not excluded if deemed necessary. The Performance Bond duration must be valid for 30 days after the delivery date.
6.2.9 Award(s) will be made to the lowest offer compliant with technical requirements. It is noted that UNRWA will also take into consideration the Total Cost of Ownership when awarding vendors and will therefore limit the number of awards for consolidation purposes if deemed in the interest of UNRWA.
6.2.10 The supplier is kindly requested to pay attention to the sustainability requirements shown in pages 24 & 25 (Form D)
