Review of Palestine Refugee Perceptions of GBV and UNRWA response to GBV The overall project intends to address the cultural factors preventing effective support to GBV survivors by engaging and transforming attitudes of UNRWA staff; build capacity of frontline health and RSS workers through mentoring and learning by doing to ensure that knowledge gained through training is translated into practice; strengthen referral pathways and safe referral practices among UNRWA workers; as well as enhance community engagement in all five field offices. The Project will thus build on and complement the GBV prevention work currently being undertaken by protection teams and response services offered to GBV survivors by RSS case workers and health center-based counsellors.
