Provision of Push-To-Talk (PTT) communication technology system over IRIDIUM Satellite network

The United Nations Global Service Centre (UNGSC) has a requirement for provision of a Push-To-Talk (PTT) communication technology system over the IRIDIUM satellite constellation services which provides emergency voice communications to the UN Peacekeeping and Political missions in different geographical areas all over the world. The scope of requirement is summarized as follows; Work Package 1: Equipment and accessories - This is to provide ICOM equipment compatible with the IRIDIUM satellite constellation using the IRIDIUM PTT Technology. Work Package 2: Related services - This is to procure access to the IRIDIUM PTT network through the IRIDIUM PTT command center and provide tracking services. Work Package 3: Training - This is to provide online training about the command control center and the centralized monitoring and tracking service. Therefore, this REOI is aimed at identifying potential competent contractors with verified technical and financial capacity to provide the stated goods and services in a satisfactory manner. The successful contractor(s) will enter into an initial period of 3 years with options of extension for two additional periods of one plus one year each (3+1+1), at the option of the United Nations. The Contract is projected to commence in October 2023. Detailed requirements, specifications and evaluation criteria will be provided in the tender document to be issued at a later date.
