Description
The JP RWEE Team, led by IFAD (here the Contracting Agent), is seeking a reputable Service Provider (SP) to undertake the JP RWEE Phase II Baseline Study (here referred to as the “Study”). Under this service contract, the successful SP is responsible for implementing all phases of the study (planning, data collection, analysis and reporting) and will work in cooperation with government/local communities and under the coordination, validation and support of the JP RWEE team. JP RWEE in Nepal, is now in the roll-out phase. The baseline study's major goal is to gain a deeper understanding of the current conditions of the intended beneficiaries in terms of Gender Equality and Women's Empowerment (GEWE) in the field of agriculture production, food security and nutrition, as well as in adaptation and resilience to shocks like climate change. The program's direct beneficiaries and the study prime focus are (i) households with female heads and their members, (ii) female smallholder farms and their households, and (iii) local communities.
