RFQ-2022-180 - Consultant - Community Led Monitoring (CLM) Project Assistant
UNAIDS is looking to hire a CLM Project Assistant who will support the work of the CLM Project Officer to provide the needed technical guidance to Community Led Orgainsations in the implementation of community led monitoring activities that were initiated earlier in 2022 with the support of USAID and the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria (GFATM) through Save the Children Nepal. The project is being implemented with the support and collaboration of EpiC Nepal and National Centre for AIDS and STD Control (NCASC) in selected districts of Nepal. Duration of work: 1 January, 2023 - 31 December, 2023 (12 months)
Key tasks:
• Review available literature on community led monitoring (CLM) and help translate into action as necessary;
• Check communication channels daily, highlight requests to share with CLM Project Officer and take action where required;
• Liaise with CLM Project Officer and discuss on-going project requirements and action items requiring immediate attention;
• Assist in coordination and preparation of CLM related meetings, workshops and trainings for CLM initiatives;
• Attend required meetings and take detailed meeting minutes and share with CLM Project Officer for review and action as needed;
• Support the delivery of CLM related trainings or workshops which includes:
- Ensure that all meeting logistics are in order
- Prepare slides and other training materials, under the guidance of CLM Project Officer
- Liaise with trainers for scheduling
- Coordinate with participants for invitation and confirmation of attendance
- Assist in facilitation of sessions where required
• Attend workshops and trainings as required and prepare brief report and share with CLM Project Officer;
• Support the utilisation of CLM tools and SOP including review and documentation of findings;
• Assist in in the utilization of monitoring tools, analysis and documentation of findings as necessary (the tools will include, but not limited to, the following: checklist or spreadsheets or questionnaires etc);
• Assist in reviewing and updating of the monitoring tools to ensure data collection, data entry and data analysis is done accurately and completed in timely manner based on the agreed workplan timelines;
• Assist in analysis of information collected and drafting the findings gathered from the CLM tools to be used for advocacy;
• Link with CBOs and identifying capacity gaps and suggest capacity building activities;
• Undertake duty travel for supporting project implementation and documentation of the purposes;
• Support in mandatory technical reporting of CLM initiatives with USAID and GF;
• Prepare and implement social media plan for UCO focusing on community led initiatives, Young people through UNAIDS’ social media platforms and others as necessary (this will include researching and updating social media content for appropriate target audiences);
• Any other work assigned by Country Director.
