EXTENDED -Development of Sustainable Conservation Management and Master Plans for restoration and rehabilitation of the Lahore Museum to guide the long-term preservation of the museum and its contents

United Nations Educational, Science and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) hereby invites qualified companies to submit tenders as follows:

The technical services of a national/international firm/organization are required for developing a sustainable Conservation Management and a Master Plan for restoration and rehabilitation of the Lahore Museum and its landscape based on the Lahore Museum Building Management Guidelines, developed by UNESCO under the Punjab Tourism for Economic Growth Project (PTEGP).

Proposals from both International and national firms/organizations/institutions will be accepted. It is expected that a team of both international and national experts will be required who have experience of implementation of best practices, quality standards and innovations in the sector. National experts are required to ensure that the requirements of the local context have been considered and provide on-ground support to collect data and follow up with monitoring the quality of implementation of plans with stakeholders.
