Tender description: The United Nations Office for Project Services (hereinafter "UNOPS") invites you to submit documents for Pre-qualification in English, for the Pre-qualification of Construction Companies which are actively operating in Republic of Sudan.
This Pre-qualification is a formal method of assessing a Construction Company against a set of pre-determined criteria. This process is related to upcoming infrastructural projects which UNOPS Sudan Office will engage with its partners in the coming years. Please note that a pre-qualification will be valid for a maximum of two years..

IMPORTANT NOTE: Interested vendors must respond to this tender using the UNOPS eSourcing system, via the UNGM portal. In order to access the full UNOPS tender details, request clarifications on the tender, and submit a vendor response to a tender using the system, vendors need to be registered as a UNOPS vendor at the UNGM portal and be logged into UNGM. New clarification added: Dear Potential Bidders,Greetings from UNOPS Sudan Office,Requester : jomana elsadig (jumana.j@hager-aqua.com)Chould you please clarify the nature of "Certificate of Competence (COC) for BC/GC Category ONE to FOUR"?Response : Certificate of Competence (COC) for BC/GC Category ONE to FOUR which is stated under the CHECKLIST TAB of esourcing is cancelled as it is not applicable in Sudan. This is also not among the criteria set for evaluation. Please make sure you are attaching the remaining documents in your submission per the the checklist shown in the check list tab disregarding Certificate of Competence (COC) for BC/GC Category ONE to FOUR.

Kindly refer the clarifications for your requests as follows: Request:Faisal Bakhiet (tradehookltd@yahoo.com)what do you mean by: license for 2022 GC. what is GC?what is COC for BC/GC category ONE to FOUR?Clarification: what do you mean by: license for 2022 GC. what is GC?This is a business license renewed for the current fiscal year. GC stands in this context for Gregorian Calendar.2. what is COC for BC/GC category ONE to FOUR?COC stands for Certificate of Competence that certify the Professional Competence. The category shows the level of competence for the company. If such categorization or grading is not avialable in Sudan, your can ignore this requirement as it is not manadatory.

Kindly refer the clarifications for your requests as follows: Request:1, Hager For Engineering Works Hager For Engineering Works is operating in the water solutions field and it executes & constructs surface and groung water projects which includes; civil construction, solar system installation, storage tanks and treatment plants fabrication .. etc. However, the list of mandatory equipment are not all requried by the operations normally carried by the company. Do, in this case, require to fullfil to the same list or shall a different one be proposed? Clarification: Please be informed that the requirements are set for all companies across the board. Most the equipments put as requirement might not be owned by the company. You can attach MoU signed with machinery rental company to be availed up on award of a contract.
