RFP-2022-95: Grant and Technical Coordinator: Community-Led Monitoring Senior Consultant
The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to enter into a contractual agreement with a successful bidder and select a suitable contractor to support grant implementation and project management for a technical support initiative to deliver community-led monitoring.
To provide coordination and to strengthen the grant’s management to achieve programmatic objectives, UNAIDS is hiring a consultant for the length of the grant period and, when needed, external expertise for specific events. The consultant will be someone who understands the workings and culture of community-led responses, has thorough knowledge of the landscape, context, and interconnections between communities, donors, and governments, and understands the UN systems and UNAIDS specifically.
The role of the Consultant in charge of the CLM Coordination will include, but will not be limited to, the following:
1. CLM coordination, support and quality assurance: Oversee/coordinate program implementation by supporting and tracking UNAIDS progress in providing support for a) community-led organizations and networks to implement CLM, b) national stakeholders to take up and respond to community data, and c) implementing partners’ progress ensuring deliverables are carried out on-time and within the scope and budget of the agreed contracts as well as in a manner that fulfill UNAIDS’ commitments to the funder.
2. Tracking progress and reporting. To provide technical assistance in the coordination of the support to countries implementing CLM
3. Support the work of the UNAIDS multistakeholder Task Team on Community-Led Responses
Duration: full-time basis from October 1, 2022 to September 30, 2023
