Dear Madame, Sir, The World Trade Organization (WTO) is currently undertaking a project (RFP-2022-205-WTO-HR-INSURANCE) for the provision of insurance coverage to the World Trade Organization for: A. Compensation related to service-incurred injury, illness or death under annex 3 of the WTO staff rules (except medical expenses) for staff members; B. Compensation for loss of earnings resulting from a non-service-incurred injury or illness for staff members on fixed-term and regular contracts; C. Compensation related to permanent disability or death resulting from a service-incurred illness or injury for WTO external experts, including dispute settlement panellists; AND D. option: compensation for loss of earnings resulting from a non-service-incurred illness or accident for staff members on short term contracts; E. option: compensation related to permanent disability or death resulting from a service-incurred illness or injury for interns not covered by the Swiss social security, and the participants in the young professional programme (YPP). The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit well-established firms interested in providing such services. In order to participate to our procurement exercises, you are requested to register in the United Nations Global Marketplace (UNGM) website. The system provides registered companies with secure access to information enabling them to participate in WTO tenders such as Expression of Interest (EOI), Request for Quotation (RFQ), Invitation to Bid (ITB) and Request for Proposal (RFP).
