Update and expansion of the FAO Water Productivity Open-access portal (WaPOR) database - ITB

The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) is seeking a qualified entity that shall ensure proper and cost-effective update and expansion of the FAO WaPOR database according to the Organization needs. The database will be made freely available to promote universal access to the data. The update and expansion of the FAO WaPOR database entails the following services: a. Update in NRT and maintenance of existing WaPOR data for the areas currently covered and of data produced for new areas; b. Expansion: setting up processing chain for the production of data over new areas; c. Expansion: production of historical data for the new areas. The Organization intends to award one or more Long-Term Agreements (LTAs) to the successful bidders for each lot with an initial duration of three years with the possibility of extension for two additional years based on satisfactory performance. Companies' registration on the United Nations Global Marketplace portal (UNGM) is a mandatory requirement to participate in this tender as the procurement process is carried out exclusively on the UNGM portal.
