New clarification added: This is an amendment to the clarification Question responses shared previously. Please take note:1. Clarification : The tender specifications request a Toyota LC78 Hardtop, While these vehicles are not being brought into the country any longer I would like to know if a box body conversion on a LC79 would be acceptable or considered? We are able to assist with 2 LC78 petrol V6 hardtops, that are available right away, I would like to provide a quotatoin for both options, the other challenge at the moment, that is due to the motor industry struggling with recovery, from lockdowns, and semi-sonductor crisis, is the availability of vehicles.if awarded the contract, vehicles would need to be ordered, and there is no official lead time for certain vehicles to come into the country even on special order, this has been the case for the past 2 years, and shows very little promise to improve in the near future. Should the vendor being awarded the contract have a leeway to obtain the vehicles without penalties this project, could take an undefined amount of time, anywhere between 3 - 12 months due to the fact that vehicles are just not being allocated as they once were, especially within Toyota. I would like clarification on the understanding of the motor industries issues that are out of the vendors control, to ensure that we would not be penalised for completion of a project that would not be in our control.Response to Clarification 1: Bidders to provide quotations as per the RFQ requirements. Alternatives are NOT accepted.2. Clarification 2: Due to the currently situation in the automotive market, for example Toyota is giving 4/5 months delivery time for new vehicles, and due to the fact that the Toyota Landcruiser vehicles do not come sampled from the manufacturer and therefore there is another process of pairing the vehicle and turning it into an ambulance, 16 weeks delivery times are not enough and we think suppliers can not meet the delivery time. In light of this, is it possible to offer delivery times longer than 24/26 weeks?Response to clarifcation 2: Bidder to provide quotation based on the leadtime requirements per the RFQ requirements.3. Clarification : Thank you for the information and request. I have been in contact with Toyota, and discussing the availability of these vehicles, there are two available, but they cannot guarantee if there will be any available in the future. The vehicles that are available match the spec, to a certain degree, where they are the petrol V6 Troopy, and not the 4.2 Diesel. We would be happy to work with you on this project, no one will be able to guarantee vehicles on this request which is the biggest struggle. If I could request clarification as there is an understanding of the struggles that the motor industry is facing and that we Unit Export & Medifit (our Vehicle and Ambulance Conversion supplier) are not able to control the production of vehicles, and delays may occur. The Troopy( LC78) is not being brought into the country any longer, and there are no allocations to dealerships for these vehicles none in build or scheduled to be built. Can you accept alternative models which are still within production specification compliancy?Response to clarification 3: Bidders to provide quotations as per the RFQ requirements. Alternatives are NOT accepted. 4. Clarification : Provision of training for 4 drivers, 4 nurses and 2 related staff. The training will be held in the country. (Bidder to submit cost breakdown of the training cost)What is your idea about Nurses curse? and for related staff? we understand that it is a basic training of vehicle description and equipment location.Response to clarifiction 4: Traning will be for the nurses that will be working in the ambulance, the idea is to train them to operate the equipment in that ambulance to help the patients. The ambulance drivers will be trained to use the ambulance

New clarification added: 5. Clarification. Thank you for forwarding the request, we can offer a conversion on a Land Cruiser Pickup, as the hard top(Troopy) seems to have been discontinued once again. Is that an option for this project or would it strictly be the hard top, as mentioned in the tender request form?I believe that there are still a couple in the country but who knows if they will be available in three months from now, none are scheduled to come into the country or even be built which would raise concern if someone does submit a quotation and cannon possibly deliver these non-existent vehicles. Response to clarification 5: Bidders to provide quotation as per the RFQ requirements.6. Clarification: About Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), it is not possible to calculate with the provided information, for example Fuel usage depend to Km, driver experience, velocity, roads situationResponse to clarification 6: Bidder to provide the information with any possible assumptions.7. Clarification: Due to the current unstable economic situation, Is it possible present the offer in European Euros (€)?Response to clarification 7: this should be quoted in USD8. Clarification: As there is no section for this in the forms to be completed, where should the following costs be indicated:- List of key spare parts with unit cost/cost- Total Cost of ownershi (TCO)Response to clarification: Bidder to send their own list and attach.9. Clarification: As we do not have answers to the questions/clarification at the moment, and the answers are crucial to prepare the bid, is it possible to have an extension of time for the preparation and submission of the ITB?Response to clarification 9; Bidders to note that there will not be any time extension.10. Clarification: You are asking for warranty for 3 years or 100000km whichever comes first on the vehicle As the Manufacturer provide the warrantyy for 1 year or 100,000 KMS whichever occurs forst from the date of Invoice. Can we offer as per manufacturer?Response to clarification 10: Bidders can offer warranty as per the RFQ requirements
