ITB - Rehabilitation of Water Treatment Plants in Four Different Locations in Anbar-Iraq

If international contractors want to participate, they have to joint venture with Iraqi contractor(s).Clause 2: Under the Qualification Criteria Tab, point # 3 is canceled.Clause 3: Under the Checklist Tab, the Valid registration confirming the bidder is of First or Second Grade Contractor in Iraq is canceled.Clause 4:Under the Documents Tab, the Revised Small_Works_ITB_Section_VI_ReturnableSchedules is uploaded to reflect the change under Schedule 0.4 Capacity and Experience as below:1. Two Similar Contracts executed successfully during the last 5 years with equal or more value of this tender submission amount.At least 2 Similar projects during the last 5 years in the region of the Middle East in the rehabilitation of water treatment plants.  The bidder must provide photos and a list of at least two (2) customer references for which similar products and services are provided. Name, firm, and contact information for the references must be provided.All other terms and conditions remain unchanged. Clause 5:Under the Technical Criteria Tab, Point 1.1 is amended as below:1.1 Financial capability The bidder has an annual turnover of a minimum amount equal or higher than bidder financial offer for this tender in any one of the last five (5) years from the date of submission.Clause 6:Under the Checklist Tab, the request of financial statements is amended as below:Financial Statements confirming the bidder has an annual turnover of a minimum amount equal or higher than bidder financial offer for this tender in any one of the last five (5) years from the date of submission.

New clarification added: Question:Referring to the previous clarification, is it possible even if the international contractor with a branch in Iraq doesn't have a first or second-grade contracting registration in Iraq? Meaning the contractor is a first-grade contractor in his country (Lebanon) but not in Iraq. UNOPS Answer:The branch in Iraq must have a valid registration as a First or Second Grade Contractor in Iraq. Question:We want to inquire about the company calssification grade which is requested to be 1st or 2nd but this term will be a great unfair for expreinced company like ours which performed more than 20 similar projects and this is the second tender with same term so either you permit the lower calssifiaction companies to participate or we will communicate a higher side with a complaint about this term.UNOPS Answer:Please adhere to the tender criteria.  Handling and managing four water stations at the same time requires a high and qualified company.

New clarification added: This is to confirm that A mandatory pre-bid meeting followed by a site visit will be held at the Rumaila water station-Anbar - Iraq, on 12 June 2022 at 10.00 AM Baghdad time. The gathering point will be at the Rumaila water station.

New clarification added: Question:1- I have seen the ITB tender details among the posted docuemnts ?2- Is there a site visiy required ?3- Is there a pre meeting required ?4- No document indicatting the dead line or any other details about the tenderUNOPS Answer:Please refer to the particulars tab where it is mentioned that A mandatory pre-bid meeting followed by a site visit will be held at the Rumaila water station-Anbar - Iraq, on 12 June 2022 at 10.00 AM Baghdad time. The gathering point will be at the Rumaila water station.The tender deadline is on 22-June-2022.
