Description

The purpose of the consultancy is to produce multi-media communications to drive the Education Plus initiative’s political and investment message through production of Op-eds and documenting and publicize through high-quality audiovisual media the engagement of young women and youth and diverse communities in the initiative in South Africa.
Scope of work
1. Develop two (2) Newspaper op-eds on Education Plus with inputs from young people and organize their publication in national and/or international newspapers and websites.
2. At up to eight (8) events in Gauteng, Eastern Cape, Western Cape and KZN, take high quality pictures of participants interacting, shoot video, and undertake video interviews with key participants. This includes obtaining written consent from all private persons (UNAIDS will supply consent forms).
3. Produce up to eight (8) video files of up to 2-3 minutes each, using footage of the events and personal testimonies, edited for use in meetings, social media and community screenings. Submit drafts to UNAIDS and the Technical Working Group for inputs and feedback, then finalize.
4. Draft, edit, layout, print and deliver the following documents:
a. One document folder (500 copies)
b. Two (2) brochures A4, double-sided (500 copies of each)
c. One profile document, 12 pages A4 double-sided staple bound, max. 3000 words. 500 copies.
5. Produce and deliver four (4) high quality pullup banners, 2000m tall x 800mm wide.
6. Transfer all media files, photos and videos to UNAIDS through cloud storage.
This assignment is expected to take fifteen days (15) days in May and June, 2022. All work must be completed before the end of June 2022.
