New clarification added: Dear Bidders, Please see below clarifications provided against request received from interested bidder:Bidder`s request:For gowns, should they be sterile or non sterile, made of what material and what grammage?With reference to the mentioned  bid , we would  like to request  for an extension for bid submission date to enable us to supply you the best product as per your request .we kindly request more time to prepare accordingly In Technical criteria, you required:"The products must be registered on the EFDA _eRIS (Electronic Regulatory Information system) lists that PPEs are authorized for marketing and use in Ethiopia by the Ethiopian Food and Drug Authority (EFDA ) in accordance with its standard practices for registration or other forms of authorisation including for special use." For The products registration, do you accept their products will be registered on the EFDA after the bidder wins the bid?UNOPS response:The gowns must be sterile and made of non-woven material. Any thickness that could achieve a minimum hydrostatic head of 50 cm H2O is acceptable.Kindly note that the products are needed for COVID - 19 responses. New clarification added: Dear Bidders, Please see below clarifications provided against request received from interested bidder:Bidder`s request: 1.Greetings, we would like to receive clarification on the Aprons. We do have various thicknesses for the material 15micron, 20micron, 30 micron, can you provide direction on which thickness you want us to provide pricing on?2.In a case of not having ISO 9001, is ISO 13485 sufficient to participate in the tender?3.Kindly clarify the item of Lot 2 Medical Apron is managed as a medical device in Ethiopia, as the general understanding, this item is a general commodity and EFDA should not request this product to be registered. Additionally, as Ethiopia's requirement, forwarding the cargo to Ethiopia shall use the Ethiopia shipping line, the general practice in Ethiopia shipping line is consignee to proceed with the booking in Ethiopia, and then assign the booking confirmation to the shipper in order to arrange the loading in the county of the origin of the product.  please clarify if the consignee will proceed with this booking.  4.For the manufacturer, ISO 13485 is ok? Instead of ISO9001 And for the surgical gloves, what's the gram weight? For eye goggles, PET lenses is ok? UNOPS response: 1.
