Capacity Building project (Consultancy and Training Services) for the Ministry of Education and General Instruction of the Republic of South Sudan.

The major goal of the project is to strengthen the capacities of education officials to plan and deliver education

services effectively. Specifically, the project aims to engage a consultancy to support the implementation of a

customized training project to address the building of capacity of approximately 62 education staff, (10 from Ministry HQs and 52 from State HQs) of the Ministry of General Education and Instruction at both the national and State level.

The specific objectives of the project will include:

1. Strengthen the capacities of education officials at national and state levels to plan and manage education sector

delivery of services with particular focus on transfers

2. Improve capacities in terms of data collections, analysis and utilization

3. Improve coordination between the actors involved in the provision of education from national and state levels.
