1.0 The United Nations Assistance Mission for Iraq (UNAMI) requires contractual services involving the provision of skilled and unskilled labor services at the UNAMI Forward Support Base located at the Military side of Baghdad International Airport. 2.0 The Contractor shall provide ground handling services such as Passenger Handling, Baggage Handling, Cargo handling, Baggage Security Screening and Jet Fuel Bowser Driver/ Operator duties. 3.0 The intial Contract is expected to be for one (1) year with an option to be extended for two additional periods of one year (1+1) for a maximum cumulative contract period of three (3) years. 4.0 The service should be executed by qualified and experienced company, based on Scope of work (SOW), Specifications, Plans, UN General Conditions of Contracts and other related documents which will be provided later on by UNAMI to qualified companies who express their interest and respond to this EOI. 5.0 For this purpose, UNAMI will undertake a competitive bidding exercise shortly, accordingly would issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) to those companies who would express their interest and provide initial relevant information as to their ability to fulfill UNAMI’s requirement. In addition, the interested Companies should complete a UNGM Registration at level 2. Please note on the following: • This EOI is not an invitation to submit a bid/proposal. • UNAMI reserves the right in selecting the invitees for the competitive bidding based on substantial and proven records of performance in the subject field of activities and mere expressing an interest would not automatically warrant for RFP document. • UNAMI reserves the right to reject EOIs received after the above deadline.
