Acquisition of Combined Heat and Power (CHP)/Cogeneration Diesel Generators

1. Background The United Nations (UN), Department of Operational Support (DOS) has a potential future requirement of provision of Combined Heat and Power (CHP)/Cogeneration Diesel Generators. This Request for Information (RFI) intends to identify potential Suppliers and manufacturers for this requirement. The requirement covers the design, manufacture, supply of such Diesel Generators with CHP systems and to provide optional services (as installation, and maintenance). Companies are invited to respond to this RFI for the UN to assess their ability in supplying the requested goods and services. 2. General Features The required equipment shall meet the following main parameters: a. Rapid deployment. b. Easy installation. c. Suitable for critical harsh environmental conditions, and for different climate zones (e.g., desert, tropical country, mountain, etc.). d. Diesel Generators in silenced container complete with parallel control panel and heat recovery system i.e., Combined Heat and Power (CHP). e. Diesel generators starting from any small size up to 1,500 kVA with CHP. 3. The RFI Purpose and Questionnaire 1. The Request for Information is intended to identify Companies with verified technical experience and financial capacity to supply the requested solutions. 2. To respond to the RFI, Companies are required to: • Complete Table 1: RFI Questionnaire • Complete Annex A – List of Projects • Provide supporting documentation such as technical data sheets and brochures, technical drawings, diagrams, certificates etc.
