United Nations Office at Nairobi (hereinafter refered to as UNON) on behalf of the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-HABITAT) Syria Programme is inviting interested vendors to submit an Expression of Interest for the anticipated solicitation exercise to establsih a Contrct for restoration of the functionality of Bor Saeed street through provision of solar lighting to the main axis. The main scope of works include but not limited to: a) Supply and installation of lighting poles of height 9 m and polygon shaped. b) Construction of pole footing (0.9*0.9*1 m3) using concrete 350 kg/m3. c) Supply and install of a built-in 60-watt LED lighting device that works on solar energy. d) Supply and installation of a solar panel with a capacity of no less than 250 watts. d) Supply and installation of device control and adjusting device as per TOW system. Subsequent to the closing date of this EOI, the UN anticipates to issue a formal solicitation document to potential companies who have expressed interest to provide the services in accordance with the requirements that will be fully specified in the solicitation document.
