Description
The United Nations Integrated Mission in Timor-Leste (UNMIT) invites Expression of Interest (EOI) from qualified service providers in order to outsource the following Medical Training Services. Reputable Service providers/contractors with sound financial standing, technical knowledge, facilities, resources, equipment, qualified personnel/manpower and capacity are therefore invited to submit their Expression of Interest. Requirements: i. Prehospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) Course for UNMIT Nurses, Paramedics and Other Medical Staff: - To provide specialized training of all UNMIT Medical Nurses, Paramedics and other Medical Staff who might be involved in different trauma emergencies. - To provide a homogeneous level of knowledge to Medical Nurses, Paramedics and other Medical Staff with different medical backgrounds and experience, in order to allow the establishment of standard procedures and requirements for medical care in the context of different trauma scenarios, which should be followed by all staff members involved in this type of procedures; - To provide internationally recognized certificate on PHTLS (i.e., American College of Surgeons). ii. Advance Trauma Life Support (ATLS) Training for UNMIT Medical Doctors: - To provide specialized training of all UNMIT Medical Doctors who might be involved in different trauma emergencies. - To provide a homogeneous level of knowledge to Medical Doctors with different medical backgrounds and experience, in order to allow the establishment of standard procedures and requirements for medical care in the context of different trauma scenarios, which should be followed by all staff members involved in this type of procedures; - To provide internationally recognized certificate on ATLS, i.e., American College of Surgeons (ACS) .
