Primary Third-Party Liability Insurance for UNLB-Brindisi and UNSB-Valencia Vehicle Fleets

The United Nations Global Support Centre in Brindisi, Italy intends to issue a tender for the provision of the primary third-party liability insurance for the operational vehicle fleets of the UN Logistics Base (UNLB) in Brindisi-Italy and the UN Support Base (UNSB) in Valencia-Spain. The vehicle fleets consist of a range of light passengers vehicles, trucks, buses, engineering and material handling equipment (approximately 120 vehicles in total). The full technical requirements and details will be provided with a formal solicitation document to be issued at a later stage soon after the closing date for this EOI. This notice does not constitute solicitation. UNGSC reserves the right to change or cancel this requirement at any time in the EOI and/or solicitation process. The UNGSC Procurement considers a firm's qualifications and experience in the particular commodity/service area, and previous performance, when preparing a list of invitees. It should be noted that by submitting a reply to this EOI does not automatically guarantee or obligate UNGSC to invite any particular company to participate in the subsequent bidding process. Only those prospective companies that are deemed qualified by UNGSC upon completion of an objective evaluation of their submission to the EOI will be invited to participate in any subsequent tender exercise.
