**UPDATE**MANAGEMENT AND OPERATION OF A NEWSSTAND AT UNHQ SECRETARIAT LOBBY

The United Nations (UN) seeks to enter into contractual arrangements with one retailer to manage and operate a Newsstand at its Headquarters in New York City. The Newsstand will be located in the Lobby of the United Nations Secretariat Building on First Avenue, New York City. The Newsstand will provide a diverse range of retail newsstand merchandise, including periodicals and magazines; health and beauty products; candy, mints, and gum; packaged snacks; film and disposable cameras; travel guides and maps; sunglasses and reading glasses; greeting cards and stationery; batteries; and sundries including aspirin, combs, toothbrushes, toothpaste, and stockings. In addition to having national and international newspapers available at the Newsstand, the ability to accept subscription requests and delivery services for these newspapers for UN staff and the Diplomatic Community is required. The capability to accept online/website newspaper subscription services and online sales are desirable. Vendors are advised that this EOI does not constitute a solicitation. The UN reserves the right to change or cancel this requirement at any time during the EOI and/or solicitation process.
