Description
The purpose of this study is to support the implementation of early learning and development programmes taking into account on evidence regarding parents and primary caregivers of children aged birth-six years in South Africa current knowledge, practices and attitudes regarding the play-based learning in the early years.
The aim of the study is to determine the current knowledge, prevalent attitudes and existing practices of South African parents and primary caregivers of young children from birth to six (6) years as to inform multiple interventions and programmes aiming at advancing parents/primary caregivers knowledge and skills in terms of early learning and development.
