Description

Dear Supplier,

 

Please refer to the RFPS-DAN-2021-503347 for provision of “Oxygen plant repair and general Biomedical services” where-in you had solicited your interest to put in your proposal.

 

As outlined during our pre-bid meeting, the fundamental background for UNICEF requesting these services is the major contribution functional PSA plants can bring to our response to COVID-19 pandemic and oxygen crisis in many countries. Repairing existing equipment is the fastest way to increase oxygen capacity in countries where there is an urgent need. 

 

The demand for such services is ever increasing as well as expanding geographically. In view of the continued need for these services and to expand the pool of potential solutions, UNICEF is to open the deadlines for submission for extension with two further windows for submission:

  1. Window-1 for submission:          Deadline 7th October 2021, 23:59 CET  (evaluation of proposals for window-1 will start from week of 8th October 2021)
  2. Window-2 for submission:          Deadline 31st October 2021, 23:59 CET (evaluation of proposals for window-2 will start from week of 5th November 2021)

 

Service providers are kindly requested to carefully review the below options, and respond as per the deadlines above as deemed appropriate.

 

Window-1

  1. UNICEF would like to thank those companies that have already submitted their proposals to this tender. Those who have already submitted their proposals will have the following options:
  1. Validate bids already submitted as final version by sending email of confirmation of validity to supplybid@unicef.org.
  2. If any updates are required, resubmissions for evaluations under window-1 can be submitted by email to suppybid@unicef.org before the deadline of 7th October 2021, 23:59 CET. Resubmissions should be clearly identified in the email submission that it is a re-submission and to be considered as the final version of submission under this RFPS.
  3. Evaluation of proposals for window-1 will start from week of 8th October 2021 and will be adjudicated.

Window-2

  1. Potential new bidders are requested to submit their bids by 31 October 2021, 23:59 CET to supplybid@unicef.org.
  1. Evaluation of proposals for window-2 will start from week of 5th November 2021 for adjudication.
