Provision of Vehicle Maintenance Services for OCHA Nigeria in Maiduguri

United Nations (UN) is looking to procure vehicle maintenance and repair services for UNOCHA Nigeria’s operation in North East Nigeria (Maiduguri, Damaturu and Yola) to maintain, repair and service its 14 Toyota vehicles. The main tasks will be: • To provide maintenance and preventive service as per manufacture’s recommendation. • To provide spare parts as part of the maintenance, repair and services. • To provide spare parts to UNOCHA Maiduguri upon request. • To provide fleet recovery services upon request by UNOCHA Maiduguri, Damaturu and Yola. UN intends to purchase from suitable Bidder(s) vehicle maintenance and repair services for UNOCHA Nigeria’s operation in North East Nigeria (Maiduguri, Damaturu and Yola) which should be as below: • The vendor should be authorized by TOYOTA company to process the maintenance. • The vendor shall have certified technicians with experience working on Toyota vehicles. • The vendor shall have adequate staffing to carryout various vehicle related works including service and or basic body repairs. • The vendor shall carry out the repair and maintenance services on the vehicles against written task orders issued by the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (UNOCHA) on behalf of UNOCHA Nigeria in Maiduguri. • The types of services include oil service, maintenance service, adjustments, replacements of components and general maintenance in line with manufacturers specification and any other repair required as per Work Order. • Spare parts, lubricants and fluids used in the repair/service should be original or Toyota recommended. Spare parts must carry standard dealer warranty of minimum six months or more as applicable. • No repairs beyond the written work order are to be carried out without prior approval from the Head of Office or his/her designated representative. • UNOCHA Maiduguri transport staff will deliver and collect the vehicle(s) from vendor’s workshop.
