Description
Tender description: Jerusalem Innovation Park (JIP) is a flagship educational complex with a total area of 5385m2, at the heart of Jerusalem in the Mount of Olives, comprising an innovation, technology and science hub as well as an International Baccalaureate (IB) school model. JIP is funded by the European Union (EU) and is a collaborative project between the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) and Al-Nayzak, wherein UNOPS will be responsible for the construction works and Al-Nayzak for the development of the educational system and the operation of the facility after construction.
The works under this package include:
Skeleton and stone cladding works, in addition to the necessary electrical and mechanical first fixes for the whole building consisting of four floors; basement 2, basement 1, ground, and first floors. This package also includes complete finishes for the ground floor only and electromechanical works for the systems in the ground floor fully and other floors partially as needed. The works under this package include part of the external works as well.

New clarification added: Dear Bidders,Please find below UNOPS's responses to Bidders' clarificationsIn the case of JV Between Palestinian Contractor (Grade 1-A/B) and Israeli Contractor (Gimel 4/5), in which the Palestinian contractor is the lead party, can you please clarify the following:Question (1)- JV agreement: is it enough to sign the special form in the Retunubale Schedule by both companies, or are there any other required documents?UNOPS Response: In addition to the JV form, both parties must submit all required classifications and registration certificates, Audit financial statements, projects implemented. New amendment added #2: Dear Bidders,The purpose of this ITB amendment is to reflect the below modifications.Extend the closing date from 5 July 2021 to 12 July 2021.Extend the clarification closing date until 6 July 2021Modify Bidders qualification criteria to enable more Contractors to participate in this tender. Therefore, bidders urged to refer to the attached modified "Returnable Bid Schedules-v1" under schedule No.3 to review the modified qualification criteria which they are modified under the Criteria tab in the eSourcing system as well. New clarification added: Dear Bidders,Please find below UNOPS responses to Bidder's clarification.Question: I am writing this clarification in reference to the final electrical and mechanical connections, i.e. the final connection to the electricity company and the final connections to the water company (Gihon). The costs of these jobs are usually covered separately by the owner. Is it the same in our project?UNOPS Response: Yes, the cost of the final connection to the electricity company and the final connections to the water company (Gihon) will be coved by the owner.Best regards,
