Kindly find below answer to queries that were sent by vendors for your information.

1. Question: we have a question in Rehabilitation of 1 borehole in Tal Al-'Araj  village and upgrading of water network : item no. C7.1 in quantity written 125 M3 kindly checked because in other tenders wrote 12.5 M3 .

Answer: Yes, the quantity should by 12.5 instead of 125 ( as in the advertised BOQ), however I suggest to keep it as it is (125m3) since at the end we will measure what is implemented and for any leftover it can be used for any other unexpected increase needed in other quantities especially the duration from preparing the BOQ to the time of implementation taking long time and many changes might appear in the site. ( lesson learnt).

1. Question: we have a question in Drilling of 1 borehole in Jadala village and upgrading of water network : item  no. A1.4 can you specify the type of borehole Syrian or other types .

• : If the question mean the drilling tools to be done by drilling machines used by Syrians, then the answer is no allowed by UNICF. The drilling should be done based on the instructions, roles and regulations that requested by Directorate of underground water who they officially approve the drilled borehole if they are involved other that they consider it illegal.

1. Question: Is there a site visit for this project?

• : Yes, It's clearly mentioned in the TOR that for site visit please coordinate with Eng. Jafar (Ninawa Water Directorate focal point) for the project’s locations.
