Description
The United Nations Support Office for AMISOM (UNSOA) requires contractual services for the provision of electrical and power distrubution works in Mogadishu, Somalia. The required work include the following: • Supply and installation of ATS panels, main and sub distribution boards. • Installation of generators including grounding, exhaust piping and fuel piping. • Installation of fuel tanks and connections to generators. • Grounding and connection of ground wire. • Connection of incomer existing cable to Distribution Board. • Supply and laying cables from generator to ATS or bus bar panel, from bus bar panel or ATS to main distribution boards to sub distribution boards and to final distribution boards, including proper connections at both ends of cables. • Laying of UNSOA supplied cables as described above. • Supply and installation of weather proof feeder pillars for street lighting. • Supply and laying of underground cables from Feeder Pillar to poles • Testing and commissioning of the above works to the satisfaction of the UNSOA engineer. • Installation of generators and main panels. • Sub distribution of electrical system from Sub Distribution Board to the final distribution boards in the offices and accommodation. • Grounding of electrical installations. • Laying of cables. • Street lighting works. UNSOA intends to award a contract for one year, with the option of extension for an additional two (1+1) year periods. This Request for Expression of Interest (EOI) does not constitute a solicitation. UNSOA reserves the right to change or cancel the requirements at any time during EOI and/or solicitation process. Submission of a reply to this EOI does not automatically guarantee that such firm will be considered for receipt of the solicitation when issued. Only vendors, deemed qualified upon completion of an objective evaluation of their submission of EOI, will receive the final tender solicitation document.
