New clarification added: Dear Bidders,Please find below UNOPS responses to Bidders clarifications:Question: Lot (3): the bid bond shall carry the name of (JV) or can be issued by the name of one of 2 members, for example ( name of the construction company of JV )?UNOPS Response: The Bid security can be in the name of the Joint Venture or in the name of the Lead party of the Joint Venture.Question: Bid Bond: shall be in the attached form of tender documents, or can be on the official bank form?UNOPS Response: It needs to be in the form attached with the tender document.Question: Audited Financial Reports: the tender documents need the last 3 reports for the last 3 years, this means that the required years is:2020,2019,2018 not 2017,2018,2019. right?UNOPS Responses: We have stated in many places in the tender document that the audit financial reports are required for the years 2017, 2918, and 2019 only. We decided not to ask for the audit financial report for the year 2020 because many companies did not carry out much construction works in year 2020 due to the spread of COVID-19. Question: All classification certificates from (MOPWH) were expired on 31/3/2021. the renewed ones under processing. We propose as usual to accept the old ones until the renewals are ready (in all cases before tender award and signing for winning contractor).UNOPS Response: Contractors shall submit valid classification certificates, and if they are in the process of being renewed then Bidders shall submit a letter from MOPWH or from the responsible entity that the respective bidder's classification certificates are under processing and will be submitted when they are ready. However, UNOPS will not sign a contract with a contractor who does not provide valid classification certificates.Question: In case of participating in all lots, is it possible for the proposed staff ( site engineer / mechanical & electrical engineers ) for lots 2& 3 the same?UNOPS Response: Yes, but bidders must make sure that the proposed staff are sufficient to carry out the works for the whole projectBest regards,
