PROCUREMENT OF MEDICAL EQUIPMENT FOR THE MINISTRY OF HEALTH OF ALBANIA

This Bid is open only Nationally, for Companies/Suppliers who are registered in the country where they produce, or their authorized representatives. A Bid may be submitted by an authorized agent for and on behalf of the primary manufacturer provided the Bid is accompanied by a duly notarized letter of authority from the primary manufacturer authorizing the designated agent to Bid solely for and on behalf of the primary manufacturer. Please note that UNFPA prefers to work directly with manufacturers.

The products should be produced and controlled in accordance with product standards and quality standards recommended by the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Global Harmonization Task Force (GHTF). For more information, see www.ghtf.org. Manufacturers or distributors whose products do not meet these standards are not acceptable to UNFPA, and shall not be proposed on the Bid.

Bidders should not be associated, or have been associated in the past, directly or indirectly, with a firm or any of its affiliates which have been engaged by the Buyer to provide consulting services for the preparation of the design specifications, and other documents to be used for the procurement of goods to be purchased under this Invitation to Bids.
