Call for external consultants: IT or Digital Expert/Firm for Digitalized Training Manual for Workers on Case Documentation and Monitoring of Violations on Freedom of Association and Collective Bargain

The International Labour Organization for the Philippines (ILO CO-Manila), under the previous EUGSP project, a training manual for workers on FoACB issues was produced to capacitate trade unions to actively engage in monitoring and investigating cases of violations of workers’ civil liberties and trade unions, especially their FOA and CB rights. Each module or session may be facilitated on its own depending on the need of the participants. On the other hand, the use of the entire Manual will achieve better results. However, given the impact that the current COVID-19 global pandemic has wrought upon the world of work, there is an urgent need to have this training manual digitized. Based on the consultation, unions also proposed inclusion of gender issues affecting women and LGBTQIA+ workers and the need to for trade unions to understand and align their own monitoring work with the specific monitoring mechanisms of rights and compliance-contingent international trade arrangements like the EU GSP+
