As we have received a number of questions asking for more technically input in response to the solicitation, thus some information may seem to be complexed clarifying through written clarifications.
- UNICEF would like to invite you for 1-hr of “Briefing call regarding to the CORE system” (tentatively) next Tuesday 2nd Mar at 8:00 – 9:00 am Bangkok time.

UNICEF Thailand has now issued a Request for Proposals reference to LRPS-2021-9165026 in order to select a qualified local institution to conduct regular CORE System Localization Services (UNICEF Thailand & Salesforce CRM) as part of the local rollouts of CORE solution for fundraising and marketing operations utilising the Salesforce platform for the following six areas:
- Business analysis to capture requirements for localization of the CRM solutions to meet the specific needs of the country and to lead User Acceptance Testing, and coordinate training sessions
- Data migration services to extract, cleanse, transform and load the required data from existing systems including DPO to final Salesforce CRM platform
- Data Integration services to identify and develop integration components under established development framework
- Salesforce development services to design and build customization and enhancements to Sales Cloud CORE package as part of localization
- Marketing Cloud expertise to help upskill and build capacity with country office staff, with three major functions: 1) help with the roll out of the Individual Giving marketing workshops (to be led by UNICEF HQ in Geneva), and 2) ensure best practices are used when building journeys and utilising the various capacities of the Marketing Cloud, and 3) support the local team to plan, build and refine journeys and emails that replace and improve their current journeys (and add any missing journeys as needed)
- Project Management to assist the global and local project teams to organise local resources, track and coordinate daily local activities. Work closely with the two global business and technical project managers to plan, execute and provide status updates on all aspects of implementation for Thailand.
This tender will be run through the UNICEF e-submissions system.

In the tender management site, if you navigate to the documents tab and opt in to confirm your intention to submit a Bid – you will then see the mandatory placeholders for documents that must be attached prior to submitting your Offer (you will also see if there are any mandatory questionnaires to complete). As such, you are recommended to `opt in` well before the submission deadline so you are clear exactly what documents are required to be uploaded prior to completing your submission.
Please note that in order to access the tender documentation through UNICEF’s e-submissions system, vendors must: (i) be registered with UNICEF in UNGM as a company/NGO; (ii) have successfully completed all mandatory information currently required by UNGM when registering.
Please ensure that any files submitted as part of your Bid are not corrupt or damaged in any way. Please exercise particular caution when using compressed files. Any corrupt or damaged files may lead to your Bid being invalidated.
All vendors are strongly recommended to regularly log in to the UNICEF e-submissions system to check for any deadline extensions, new clarifications, new correspondence or updated tender documents relating to this tender.
