ETP activities are foreseen to focus on Indonesia, the Philippines and Vietnam - several activities, e.g. media engagements or photo and video productions will need to happen on the ground - can you clarify the approximate ratio/breakdown of the activities per country? And given the location of the ETP project office in Bangkok, would Thailand be covered in activities and a communications approach? Related to this, what is the expectation for team members to be physically located or represented in each of these markets?Equal shares among the countries. Thailand involves audiences of ETP; and at a later stage is planned to be a country of operation (early next year). We expect that the external communications agent can provide journalistic support and support to events anywhere in the world and particularly in Southeast Asia, whether the vendor will provide this physically in the country or virtually should be subject to the vendor’s proposal.6. Will it be possible to modify/add clauses into the contract if we win the tender during the contract administration process?Please let us know what are the clauses within UNOPS general conditions of contract that you would like to adjust.In addition, as we learned of this tender only recently, we would like to respectfully request an extension of the deadline for proposal submission from February 17, 2021 to February 24, 2021.We look forward to hearing back from you.Thank you.Best wishes,

New clarification added: Dear UNOPS team,We are interested in this posted opportunity to serve as an external communications agency for the UNOPS-operated Southeast Asia Energy Transition Partnership (ETP).We would like to seek some clarifications related to the tender:In the table "Services Output Expected from the Consultant" in Section II of the RFP, one of the service outputs is “Journal Features”. Would you be able to provide more information on this output? Does it refer to advertorial placement in media (either general, trade, or energy-specific publication) or does it refer to placement in scientific or professional journals, with no payment attached? Could you provide 1-2 examples?This refers to journal articles, along the lines of your latter point. There are thousands of these in the journals and periodicals these days. Here is one: https://www.ft.com/content/b31f99b8-ce31-11e8-8d0b-a6539b949662In Section IV. "Expected Activities and Outputs" in the Section II of the RFP, one of the activities to be performed under media relations is “Collate ETP coverage in global media, including in social media, to support ETP in analyzing the coverage of energy transition topics, particularly in Southeast Asia, and advise on media strategy improvements where applicable.” However, this particular task (media and social media monitoring) does not appear in Table 1 of Section X. Would you mind clarifying? It should be included in the tasks. Is it possible for us to propose a modification to an output if we deem it necessary, e.g. addition of strategic counsel throughout the project duration? Yes you can. Can you share the anticipated budget, either ceiling or range, for this tender? Unfortunately, UNOPS cannot share indicative budget for its tenders
