Description

UNRWA seeks the service of (a) qualified contractor(s) who can - through designated pharmacy(ies) in Lebanon - provide the required pharmaceuticals and the approved generic equivalent in line with the Lebanese Ministry of Public Health (MOPH) list of essential drugs for treatment of these diseases at prices comparable to those that the MOPH is able to secure from suppliers of the Prescribed Pharmaceuticals; to enable UNRWA beneficiaries to access their Prescribed Pharmaceuticals at affordable prices while paying only their share to the Contractor(s), whereas UNRWA’s support/coverage shall be invoiced directly to UNRWA at the end of each month.

UNRWA wishes to avail itself of the services of supplier(s) who shall procure, sell and deliver, through its designated pharmacy(ies) network in Tripoli, Beirut, Tyre, Baalbeck, Chtoura, and Saida areas the required pharmaceuticals to the patients in Lebanon for a 1-year period effective 01/01/2021, with the option to extend for up to two (2) additional consecutive one-year periods, for a total duration not to exceed three (3) years (1+1+1), subject to satisfactory performance and mutual agreement between the parties. The estimated total monthly sales per area is displayed in the attached Annex B for reference purposes only, noting that the numbers may increase or decrease per month based on patients’ needs.
