The United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) now invites sealed bids from bidders for Provision of Consultancy Services for Zimbabwe Electricity Transmission and Distribution Company (ZETDC) Medium Voltage Network Reinforcement in Districts of Chipinge and Chimanimani, Zimbabwe
A complete set of the RFQ documents in English is attached in the “Documents” section of this Notice.
Please be advised that UNOPS reserves the right to amend the solicitation documents at any time. Any amendments or clarifications will be communicated to bidders directly and/or posted on UNGM.
Bids must be received by UNOPS on the e-mail address specified in the RFQ document by 12:00 pm (noon) Harare, Zimbabwe Time on 23 November 2020. Bids sent to any other e-mail/address will be declared invalid.

This Amendment 2 is to extend the clarification and bid submission deadline, amend the following articles of Schedule 5 & 11 and upload the minutes of clarification meeting with Questions and Answers.
*** SCHEDULE 11 - Outline Statement of Proposed Methods***
The bidder’s proposed method statement demonstrates the bidder’s capacity to provide the services in a professional and properly staged manner.
***Methodology***: Bidders shall provide
- geo-tagged pictures and
- a technical statement explaining
(a) existing condition of the powerlines that need to be rehabilitated/reconstructed at Middle Sabi, Chipinge and Chimanimani.
(b) conditions of the Chipinge - Clearwater line.
****Clarification deadline*** : has been extended from 10 November 2020 at 12 Noon Zimbabwe Time to 17 November 2020 at 12 Noon Zimbabwe Time.
***Deadline for Quotation Submission*** - has been extended from 12:00 pm (noon) Harare, Zimbabwe Time on 16 November 2020 to 12:00 pm (noon) Harare, Zimbabwe Time on 23 November 2020.

This Amendment 1 is to extend the site inspection notification deadline from 2 November 2020 to 12 November 2020. (PLEASE REFER TO AMENDMENT 1 AND RFQ_REVISION 1 ATTACHED IN THE 'DOCUMENTS' SECTION).
***Site Inspection***
The site inspection is mandatory.
A group site inspection shall NOT be held but bidders shall carry out unsupervised site inspection.
Prospective bidders are required to send an email to confirm participation on the site visit and provide details of bidder's representatives to Ms. Tegist Mekonnen email:- tegistm@unops.org
Bidders shall provide Names of representatives, Vehicle Registration number, Date and Time of visit latest by COB on 12 November 2020.
UNOPS will provide Bidders with an introductory letter to be presented to the Zimbabwe Electricity Transmission and Distribution Company (ZETDC) on the date of site visit.
Bidders must self-certify their site visit by providing the following evidence
(a) geo-tagged pictures and
(b) in the response to Schedule 11 “Methodology” bidder shall provide a technical statement explaining
