New clarification added: Dear Bidders,Kindly see the below question and answer to the querry as per below:Question: S/NO.14 Air-Cooled Split Air-conditioning Units, Acceptance Brand are: Daikin, Mitsubishi, Panasonic But in the BoQ 1.4 MVAC the brand of AC is Gree which not included in the MEP specification. So, which one is acceptible?Answer: The brand of AC has to follow the Brand of Equipment listed in Specification (Daikin, Mitsubishi, Panasonic). New concrete slab is required for existing building after demilition, Please add and highlight the cost in prelinainary cost.Q2.In BOQ No.2 External works we saw at remark put Phase II, so this BOQ will put the price for this tender submission or not ? Please advide us?A2. Reguarding External work in BoQ marked Phase II, please put price for all work items. 3. Would we upload bid submission as PDF files with sign and stamp or just excel/work files without sign and stamp?A3. New clarification added: Dear Bidders,Thank you for your query, kindly see our responses to your points as per below: (1) The Footer of Contract Templates cover (Page1): Date [insert month] 20[insert] (Q) Please provide the exact date to insert or specific the [insert]?A1: The exact date will be added at the contract signing stage only. The templates provided in the tender docuemnts serves as information for the bidders to aware and accept about our contract term and conditions in case of award only. (2) Built Drawing in the BOQ as Lum Sum, is for a new drawing upon the actual work occur?A2: Yes, the contractor is responsible to provide as-built drawing ( revised set of drawing) upon completion of construction. (3) In relation to the insurance and construction permit. Does this project has the consulting firm/consultant?A3: We hired a design firm for the detail design. The project owner is responsible for construction permit. UNOPS Project Manger is responsible for managing and supervising the construction contract. For construction insurance, the contractor has to comply with the contract.(4) May I request to have a site visit on 23/10/20 14:00? If you are okay, please give me the contact person for a visit.A4: We already set the exact timeline on 23 Oct 20 at 11:00 AM right away after pre-bid meeting.(5) Bid Security, regarding the content of clause 16. Bid Security which shall be in the form set out in Returnable Bid Schedule 2 - Form of Bid Security, but in the Returnable Bid Schedule 2 is written "NOT USED". Mean, the bidder shall not issue the Bid Security?(A5) The bid security is not a requirement under this tender submission. New clarification added: Dear Bidder,Thank you for your query, kindly see our responses to your points as per below: (1). Financial report has to be audited to demonstrate it's authenticity. (2). Construction permit is the responsibility of the project owner/employer. The contractor must have legal documents, registration and licenses to carry out the work in accordance to the contract.(3). The payment will be made according to the payment schedule identified in the contract template, the employer has reserved sufficient budget to release to the contractor on time if the work is completed according to time frame and specification as in the contract.
