UNFPA through its multi-country program on out-of-school Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE) aims to reach those young people who are furthest left behind. These include young people living with HIV, young people in detention, young people selling sex and young people with disabilities. The program will further support the left behind populations through equipping them with personal skills and promoting their sexual and reproductive health and rights. In addition, it will help them make informed decisions about their sexuality. In order to ensure equality for all, in times of COVID-19, UNFPA needs to ensure that all young people are meaningfully involved in the program including young people with hearing impairment. Therefore, providing specific personal protection equipment (PPE) for those young people will support their inclusion.
