New clarification added: Dear Bidders,Please note the below raised questions and our official responses in connection to the request for quotation, ref. RFQ/2020/16294Question 7: Is this is necessary to bid for all items ? Or we can quote for individual items.Answer 7: As specified in the bid particulars, Bidders are allowed to quote prices for one or more lots identified in this tender. However, bidders must offer 100% of the items specified for each lot and to 100% of the quantities specified for each item of a lot. Evaluation will be done per lot.Question 8: FCA point needs to be for air of sea ? This is required for any specific location or can we give in our country ( origin)?Answer 8: Bidder can propose any FCA point including their country of origin however UNOPS - Peace and Security Cluster is operating in the list of countries provided in section II: schedule of requirement under Delivery requirements and Comparative Data Table. Bidder must be able to facilitate export to at least 20 out of the 28 countries listed.Question 9: As per the description of requested items , helmet and visor needs to be quote with demining vest . Right ? Fr example – demining vest+helmet with visor ( set) or it needs to be quote separate for helmet and visor.Answer 9: As specified in the solicitation document, the items have to be quoted per lot.Lot 1: Demining Vest / PPE - Open back Lot 2: Demining Vest / PPE Half back protection Lot 3: Demining Vest / PPE Full back protection Lot 4: Lightweight Demining Helmet - including VisorLot 5: Demining VisorQuestion 10: About the "QTY OF ORDERS Unit price FCA"A. 1- 10 units B. 11- 20 units C. 21- 40 units D. 41- 60 unitsE. 66 units and higher Please confirm E is "66 units and higher" or "60 units and higher"Answer 10: There was a typo error in E, this is now revised under amendment 1 and it should be as following;A. 1- 10 units B. 11- 20 units C. 21- 40 units D. 41- 60 unitsE. 61 units and higher E is “61 units and higher”Question 11: Please confirm if demining vests and helmets produced by our national standard with explosion-proof certificate is acceptable or not. We meet the demanded V50 protection requirements.Answer 11: Vest, helmets and visor shall be manufactured to meet IMAS 10.30, STANAG 2920 ,MIL-STD-662F - As specified in the solicitation document vendors shall provide test reports (from independent testing facilities) with their submission.Question 12: Regarding the sample: Please clarify if any spare parts are needed when sending the sample to UN for a quality test?Answer 12: This requirement is now removed using amendment one of this tender and No samples are required under this tender.Question 13: Regarding to Section II: Schedule of Requirements - 5. Contract Management - "KPI 1: On-time delivery. Supplier shall deliver the goods within maximum 30 days after receipt of the release PO for orders up to 10 units." (Page 1) Please confirm if 45 days is acceptable or not.Answer 13: Due to the requirements of our programs, the maximum acceptable is 30 days. so this KPI should remain the same.This shall form part of the official solicitation documents. New amendment added #1: Dear Bidder,Please take a note of the following changes made to this tender;The sample requirement to be sent to NY office has been removed. The tender requires no samples to be delivered before awarding the contract. The requirement has been removed both from the evaluation criteria and the questionnaire tabs in eSorucing.The technical evaluation criterai in eSourcing has been added with delivery requirements as following: The bid’s Delivery Requirements (including Incoterms rule(s) requested) are compliant and do not contain any material deviation(s) from the minimum required as included in Section II: Schedule of Requirements.A minor typo error has been corrected in the particular tab under “evaluation method details” as following:A. 1- 10 units B. 11- 20 unitsC. 21- 40 unitsD. 41- 60 unitsE. 61 units and higherE is changed from “66 units and higher” to “61 units and higher” This shall make part of the solicitation documents, please be guided accordingly.

RFQ/2020/16294Question 1: Please specify the demanded product amount of each lot?Answer 1: UNOPS will not be committed to purchase any minimum quantity under this BPA. However the quantity to be quoted for this tender is listed in form B-price schedule form (financial excel sheet), columns E5 to I5.Question 2: Please provide some pictures for reference?Answer 2: No picture will be provided – Please have a look at : https://www.gichd.org/en/resources/equipment-catalogue/equipments/?tx_solr%5Bfilter%5D%5B3%5D=family%3A1Question 3: Have any photos for reference? So I can accordingly see how to design the vest and value the cost. For example it has pants? It has the groin and waist part? The back side full open, half open, that has a photo for reference?Answer 3: No picture will be provided – Please have a look at : https://www.gichd.org/en/resources/equipment-catalogue/equipments/?tx_solr%5Bfilter%5D%5B3%5D=family%3A1Question 4: It only can use aramid or can also be pe?Answer 4: As specified in the solicitation document the requirement for the inner material is either Aramid or Kevlar and shall be easily removable.Question 5: Helmet need must by glass fiber or it can by pe?Answer 5: As specified in the solicitation document the requirement is Glass / Fiber reinforced plastic ONLY.Question 6: I would like to ask, how You define for Lot 2: Demining Vest / PPE - Half back protection Which way half back?Answer 6: Front the base of the neck down.This shall form part of the official solicitation documents. Please be guided accordingly.Thank you.
